eldest son of George & Alice Ann Ewen (nee Disdell).

Manchester Courier & Lancashire General Advertiser 2nd March 1907, page six
- An article about the first edition of an intended annual issue of the
Manchester Rucksack Club.  It cost 1/- and is illustrated with excellent
photographs.  Mr. G.T. Ewen is the Editor.

1911 census - No Trace, but he is recorded in the Lodger's list of 1910 as
residing at 11 Wilton Road, Chorlton cum Hardy where he was renting a
furnished bedroom for 15/- per week.

London Gazette dated the 27th October 1914 - George Thomas Ewen of the 3rd
Bn, Manchester Rgt to be a Second Lieutenant (on probation).

Sal Ewen George Thomas Manchester Evening News dated the 14th January 1916
- Lieutenant G.T. Ewen (with portrait photograph) has been Mentioned in
Dispatches.   He formerly resided in Chorlton cum Hardy and was a
practicing Barrister in London.

Territorial Force Efficiency Medal.
