Bn) Volunteer Bty. Cheshire Rgt.

Killed by Lightning at Bloemfontein, Orange Free State.

WO96/430 - entitled to the QSA Medal with Cape Colony, Orange Free State
and Transvaal clasps.

Listed as J. Buckley on the Bloemfontein Cemetery Memorial.   There's no
trace of his metal grave marker.

His brother John Willie Buckley was killed in France in May 1916.
