Born during the September quarter 1889 in the Altrincham R.D. - 8a/168, the son of Charles & Elizabeth Braithwaite (nee Barlow, formerly Parry). His birth was registered under the name of Frank Leslie Braithwaite. His mother was oringinally married to Thomas Henry Parry, who died in 1884, aged: 39. The 1915 Sale Directory lists a - Charles Braithwaite - Market Gardener. Listed in the Guardian Year Book - Roll of Honour for 1918, which lists him as F. Braithwaite. Death reported in the 17/07/1917 edition of the Altrincham Guardian and comemorated on the family grave in Sale (Brooklands) Cemetery. |
