Extra Information: | |||
Born at Sale during the either the March quarter or the June quarter 1893, the son of John & Mary Rogers (nee Royle). 1901 Census - 26 Egerton Street, Sale. Son - aged: 8 - born: Sale. Head of household - John Rogers - Married - aged: 43 - occ: General Labourer - born: Sale. Also - Mary Rogers - Wife - aged: 40 - born: Knutsford. Plus 5 siblings. 1911 Census - No Trace of any of the family. In Canada perhaps? There are two Thomas ROGERS residing at Sale in 1901 - both born at Sale - one born during March quarter 1893, the other during the June quarter. BUT.........only the son of Joseph & Emma Rogers is still residing at Sale in 1911. There is no trace of the other Thomas Rogers or any of his family in 1911. Because Thomas is recorded on SDGW as living at Golt, Ontario, Canada, I am concluding that he is the "missing" (missing from the 1911 census) Thomas who died in France in 1915, the son of John & Mary Rogers. |
