Born at Kilmarnock, Ayreshire in 1897, the son of Robert & Janet Wallis Highet (nee Wallis). 1901 Census - No Trace. 1911 Census - No Trace. WO 363 - No Trace. Listed on the Presbyterian Memorial as Wallace Highet. Lance Sergeant Highet died two days into the final German offensive of March 1918. His brother - Robert Highet was also killed during WW1. Pension Records - Dependent: Mother - Mrs. Jeanie Highet, Boscobel, Northenden Road, Sale. It lists both her sons on the one record card. |
