His mother - Helena Graham - Married - aged: 30 - occ: Laundress Maid - born: Blackburn, Lancashire and his elder sister and himself were boarding with the Pierpoint family. No record of his father. 1901 Census - Bucklow Union Workhouse, Knutsford. Inmate - aged: 14 - born: Altrincham. His mother - Eleanor Graham - Married - aged: 39 - occ: Laundress Ironer - born: Blackburn, Lancashire and his two sisters, aged: 16 & 10 were also inmates of this Workhouse. 1911 Census - No.9 - No1 Court, Chapel Road, Sale. Son - aged: 22 - occ: Portering Railway Station - born: Altrincham. Head of household - Elena Graham - Widow - aged: 49 - occ: Domestic Charring - born: Blackburn, Lancashire. Plus - 1 younger sister. Married Ada Mary Jolly during the June quarter 1915 in the Northampton R.D. - ref: 3b/121. Post-war Ada was residing at 77 Fortuneswell, Portland, Dorset.
