CWGC states that he served in the 55th Division Base Depot, Royal
Engineers.

Pension Records - Dependant - Mrs. E. Moores, 32 Christie Street, Halton
View, Widnes, Lancashire.   Awarded a weekly pension of 8/- w.e.f. the 31st
July 1917.  This was increased to 15/- w.e.f. the 18th November 1918, the
reduced to 7/- w.e.f. the 30th December 1919.   It states that he was
killed by a bomb whilst a prisoner of war.
