Head of household - Samuel Winterbottom - Married - aged: 50 - occ: Grey Cotton Cloth Merchant - born: Salford. Also Margaret Winterbottom - Wife - aged: 44 - born: Whittle Springs, Lancashire. Plus 3 elder sisters. 1911 Census - Norman Villas, Barkers Lane, Ashton upon Mersey. Son - aged: 14 - Scholar - born: Salford. Head of household - Samuel Winterbottom - Married - aged: 60 - occ: Grey Cotton Cloth Merchant - born: Salford. Also Margaret Winterbottom - Wife - aged: 54 - born: Whittle Springs, Lancashire. Plus 3 elder sisters. MIC - originally a Private with the Royal Scots - No. 242778, before gaining a Commission with the Royal Warwickshire Rgt. The records states that he was drafted to France, but gives no date. |
