Born during the March quarter 1920 in the Bucklow R.D. - ref: 8a/341, the son of Daniel Worthington & Sophia Wright (nee Humphreys). 1939 National Registration - No Trace which would indicate that he was already serving as servicemen were not included in this census. His parents, his paternal grandfather and an aunt were residing at 31 Wynyard Road, Manchester. All three were employed either as Nurserymen or a Land Worker (aunt). M.I. "Peace Perfect Peace". CWGC - Son of Daniel Worthington & Sophia Wright of Wythenshawe, Cheshire. Commemorated on a small memorial stone set within the group of family graves in St. Mary's P.C., Ringway. |
