It is understood that he died near Ashford, Kent, at the height of the Battle of Britain. On an Anti-Aircraft Battery perhaps ??? His father John Thomas, died 25/08/1950 aged 61 years and his mother Jessie, died 01/08/1959 aged 77 years.
