Born during the September quarter 1919 in the Chorlton R.D. - ref: 8c/1085, the son of Guy & Gwendoline Isabel Burnett Emmott (nee Bibby). Joined the Metro-Vicker's Company as an Examiner in May 1938 and employed in the Heating Elements Engineering Department. Joined the RAFVR in December 1940 and promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 1941. Reported missing from air operations over enemy territory in June 1942, presumed KinA. |
