| Joined the Metro-Vicker's Company as a Tester in November 1938 and employed in the Test Department of the Sheffield Works. Joined the Royal Fusiliers in April 1940 and Commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the 15th Punjab Rgt in Novemebr 1940; later transferred to the Royal Indian Engineers. Transferred to the Royal Indian Naval Volunteer Reserve as a Sub-Lieutenant (E) in May 1943 and promoted to the rank of Electrical Lieutenant in December 1944. The M-V book states that he died in India in January 1946 ??? | |||
