Joined the Metro-Vicker's Company as a Fitter in February 1938 and employed in the Locomotive & Compressor Department, Sheffield Works. Joined the RAFVR in which he held the rank of Sergeant. Mobilised in September 1939. Killed in an aircraft accident in March 1940. | |||
