Joined the Metro-Vicker's Company as a Junior Clerk in 1939 and later became a Technical Correspondent in the London Office. Engaged in full-time A.R.P. duties from July 1939 until April 1940. Joined the RN in February 1942 and saw service in the far east. Accidentally killed whilst serving in Scotland in April 1945. Listed as being a Petty Officer on MV's Memorial. M.I. - "For ever young he lives and laughs in God's eternal spring". |
