| Killed in a transport ship destroyed by enemy action - probably the M.V. Fort Howe a 7,133 ton MOWT ship travelling on Admiralty Service from Salerno to the UK, sunk by U-410 which on the same day, also sank the 3,722 ton Empire Commerce, another MOWT ship bound for Algiers. | |||
