Born during the December quarter 1914 in the Chorlton R.D. - ref: 8c/1573, the son of Ambrose & Elizabeth Alice Wagstaff (nee Bancroft). He married Edna Davies during the Septermber 1929 in the North Manchester R.D. - ref: 8d/1657. Malcolm was sitting on top of a tank when it came under fire and he was fatally wounded. Commemorated on the family gravestone in Stretford Cemetery. French M.I. - "Time cannot dim the memory of our love. I'll be forever yours". |
