Joined the Metro-Vicker's Company as a Laboratory Assistant in March 1940. Joined the RAFVR in June 1940 and later promoted to the rank of Sergeant. But not listed on their Roll of Honour. Died at Benson, Oxfordshire. Buried 27/01/1941 - Burial No. 18,039. His gravestone has a Scout Emblem on it and states that he was killed in action. His mother, Marion died 07/02/1945 aged 49 years. |
