the son of William & Martha Ellen Young (nee Clarke).

In 1891, his parents - William & Martha Ellen Young - were residing at 217
City Road, Hulme, Manchester.  William was aged: 29 - occ: Pork Butcher -
born: Manchester.   Martha Ellen - aged: 28 - born: Padiham, Lancashire. 
Plus 3 daughters and 1 servant.

1901 Census - The Nicholl's Hospital, Hyde Road, Ardwick, Manchester (now
the Nicholls Campus of The Manchester College).     Resident Pupil - aged:
8 - born: Manchester.

His father was now dead and his mother residing at 320 Oldham Road,

Lancashire.  plus 3 of Williams siblings.

Domestic Duties.

CWD 123 Report No. 123.   Died as a result of falling debris at 54
Northleigh Road, Old Trafford, from where his body was recovered at 00.30
hrs on the 12th March 1941 and taken to the City Road Mortuary, Old
Trafford.   His body was identified by his sister - J.A. Ball and released
for burial to his mother - Martha Ellen Young, 49 Yarburgh Street, Moss
Side.    Employed as an Insurance Agent.

His wife - Edith Young, was also killed in this incident.
