No trace of his birth or his appearance on any census returns in this country. Russian Sailor ??? CWD Report No. 135. Died as a result of falling debris at 2 Thomas Street, Old Trafford, from where it was recovered at 11.30 hrs on the 12th March 1941 and taken to the City Road Mortuary, Old Trafford. His body was identified by his friend J. Tratalos ??? and released for burial to the Council's Undertaker Contractor R. Pepperdaine, 31 Ayres Road, Old Trafford. Employed as a "Seafaring Man". Mortuary Official's guess at his age was 40 years. He was carrying an "Alien's Order" in his wallet. Buried 15/03/1941 - Burial No. 18,069. |
