Born during the September quarter 1902 in the Bristol R.D. - ref: 6a/108, the son of Edwin John & Annie Eliizabeth Davey (nee Peck). 1911 Census - 69 Barton Hill Road, Bristol. Son - aged: 8 - born: Bristol. Head of household - Edwin John Davey - Married - aged: 40 - occ: Stationary Fireman - born: Bristol. Also - Annie Elizabeth Davey - Wife - aged: 42 - born: Bristol. Plus 3 siblings and a nurse child, aged: 2. Married - Margery Unsworth during the September quarter 1940 in the Barton on Irwell R.D. - ref: 8c/2245 and they resided at 1 Mayfield Avenue, Stretford. 1939 National Registration - No Trace CWD Report No.118. Death due to falling debris at Manor Road, Stretford where his body was recovered on the 12th March 1941 and taken to the Church Street Mortuary, Stretford. It was identified by his wife and released to the Co-operative Wholesale Society, Manchester for burial. His occupation was given as a Miller. Death registered in Stretford Borough. Buried on 17/03/1941.
