Merouane was a French Moroccan and died in the Military Hospital at Davyhulme, now Trafford General Hospital. Originally buried in Urmston Cemetery on the 4th July 1940 - burial No. 4,342. Buried in the "gap" along the row of British WW2 servicemen buried there. His body was exhumed on the 9th November 1948 and reburied in the French Section of the Brookwood Cemetery alongside his fellow Countrymen. | |||
