Born in London on the 9th May 1884 (June quarter 1884 - Hackney R.D. - ref:
1b/620), the son of George Percival & Elizabeth Goode.

1891 Census - 14 Fortescue Avenue, Hackney.   Son - aged: 6 - born:
Hackney, Middlesex.    Head of household - George P. Goode - Married -
aged: 44 - occ: Joiner - born: Ludlow, Shropshire.    Also - Elizabeth
Goode - Wife - aged: 45 - born: Ross, Herefordshire.   Plus 2 siblings.

1901 Census - 16 Fortescue Avenue, Hackney.  Son - aged: 16 - occ:
Apprentice Carpenter - born: Hackney, Middlesex.   Head of household -
Elizabbeth - Married - aged: 55 - born: Ross, Herefordshire.    Plus 2
siblings.  No trace of his father.

1911 Census - No Trace - presumably now in Canada.

At the time of his enlistment in 1916, he was residing at 262 - 47th Avenue
East, Vancouver, British Colombia.

His Canadian attestation form, signed on the 28th April 1916, at Vancouver,
British Colombia, states that he was 32 years of age, 5 feet 4½ inches in
height, had a 37½/4½ inch chest (fully expanded).   His complexion was:
dark, his eyes: brown and his hair: black.    The papers also state that he
was a Carpenter & Wheelwright by trade and that he had previously served in
the 6th Regiment D.C.O.R. (6 months) and 19th Coy. Canadian Army Service
Corps (2 months).   He had a scar on the inner side of his right knee and 2
scars on his left hip.

Religion - C of E.   He was married and his wife - Mrs. Alice Goode, 262 -
47th Avenue East, Vancouver, was listed as his next of kin.
