The local newspaper states that his father lived at Yew Tree House,
Ringway.

Joined the Hussars in March 1916 and trained in Ireland.

Formerly 27327 - Southern Cavalry Depot.

Drafted to the front in November 1916.   He was struck by a shell and
killed instantly.

Listed in the Guardian Year Book - Roll of Honour for 1918, which states
that he lived at Yew Tree House, Ringway.
