son of Sarah Ann Bailey.

On the 1891 Census returns for Pepper Street, Mobberley, his mother was
listed as Single - aged: 18 - occ: Laundress - born Mobberley.  Head of
household - her widowed mother - Sarah Bailey, aged: 62.   Sarah Ann
married Enoch Simcock during the December quarter 1900 in the Bucklow R.D.

born: Mobberley.   Head of household - Sarah Bailey - Widow - aged: 78 -

Simcock (Daniel's mother) - daughter - born: Mobberley.   Plus his younger
sister.

38 - occ: Roadman - born: Mobberley, Cheshire.  Also - Sarah Ann Simcock

sister and 3 half siblings.

Honour.

The Anneux Cemetery is at the side of the Bapaume to Cambrai road (N30). 
The BEF had captured six villages around Cambrai on the 30th September.
