Born during the December quarter 1890 in the Altrincham R.D. - ref: 8a/158, the son of John & Elizabeth Wildman Whinfield (nee Stubbs). Birth registered as Christopher Bee Whinfield. 1891 Census - 23 Bold Street, Altrincham. Son (Christopher B. Whinfield) - aged: 5 months - born: Altrincham. Head of household - John Whinfield - Married - aged: 49 - occ: Army Pensioner & Messenger Port - born: Lymm. Also - Elizabeth W. Whinfield - Wife - aged: 29 - born: Gibraltar (British Subject). Plus 3 elder brothers. His father - John Whinfield died in 1900 - aged: 57. Died at the time of his youngest son's birth. 1901 Census - 17 Bold Street, Altrincham. Son - (Christopher Bee Whinfield) aged: 10 - Scholar - born: Altrincham. Head of household - Elizabeth Wildman Whinfield - Widow - aged: 39 - born: Gibraltar (British Subject).
