Born during the March quarter 1899 in the Chorlton R.D. - ref: 8c/803, the youngest son of Thomas & Harriett Louisa Ann Clarke (nee Goodman) 1901 Census - 24 Granville Road, Chorlton, Manchester. Son - aged: 2 - born: Manchester. Head of household - Thomas Clarke - Married - aged: 41 - occ: Clerk in G.P.O. Telegraph Office - born: Cartmel, Lancashire. Also - Harriet L. Clarke - Wife - aged: 42 - born: Dudley, Worcestershire. Plus 2 elder siblings. 1911 Census - 7 St Marys Road Ashton-Upon-Mersey. Son - aged: 12 - Scholar - born: Fallowfield, Manchester. Head of household - Thomas Clarke - Married - aged: 51 - occ: Civil Service - Overseas Postal Telegraph Office - born: Cartmel, Lancashire. Also - Harriet L. Clarke - Wife - aged: 50 - born: Dudley, Worcestershire. Plus 2 elder siblings. Formerly 39292 East Lancs Rgt.
