Born during the March quarter 1888 in the Bakewell R.D. - ref: 7b/756, the
son of William German & Ellen Frith (nee Cocker).

1891 Census - Dell View, Eyam, Derbsyshire.   Son - aged: 3 - born: Eyam.  
Head of household - William G. Frith - Married - aged: 30 - occ: Shoemaker
- born: Eyam.   Also - Ellen Frith - Wife - aged: 30 - born: Eyam.   Plus 2
brothers.

1901 Census - No Trace.

Married Ethel Kemp at St. Matthew's P.C., Stockport during the December
quarter 1909 in the Stockport R.D. - ref: 8a/101.   At the time of the 1901
Census - Ethel was residing at  17 Herbert Street, Stockport - aged: 10 -
born: Stockport.

His wife - Ethel died during the March quarter 1910 in the Stockport R.D. -
ref: 8a/37 - aged: 20.

1911 Census - 17 Stopford Street, Edgeley, Stockport.    Son - Widower -
aged: 23 - occ: Leather Dresser - born: Eyam.    Head of household -
William German Frith - Married - aged: 50 - occ: Boot and Shoe Maker -
born: Eyam.   Also - Ellen Frith - Wife - aged: 50 - born: Eyam.   Plus 4
siblings.

Married Annie Hulme at St. Matthew's P.C., Stockport during the March
quarter 1913 in the Stockport R.D - ref: 8a/97.

MIC - lists his Territorial No. as 2413 and shows that he was a Corporal
(Acting Sergeant).  His final number was 265649 and his rank associated
with that number wqas - Sergeant.   He was posted to France on the 26th
Januray 1915.  He was awarded the 15 Star, the BWM and the VM.

His WO363 is missing.

His father died in 1918, aged: 57.

A Stockport man really, but his widow resided at Altrincham and may have
originated from there.
