Born during the December quarter 1893 in the Altrincham R.D. - ref: 8a/183,
the only son of Thomas & Ada Barrow (nee Taylor).

Knutsford.   Head of household - Thomas Barrow - Married - aged: 37 - occ:
Platelayer - born: Mobberley.   Also - Ada Barrow - Wife - aged: 30 - born:
Knutsford.   Plus his maternal grandfather.

1911 Census - Blakeley Lane, Mobberley.   Son - aged: 17 - occ: Apprentice
to Grocery - born: Knutsford.   Head of household - Thomas Barrow - Married
- aged: 48 - occ: Platelayer - born: Mobberley.   Also - Ada Barrow - Wife
- aged: 42 - born: Knutsford.   Plus his maternal grandfather.

Employed as Branch Manager of the Bratt & Hobson, Grocers, Broadheath.

A member of the Wesleyan Chapel and a Sunday School Teacher.

Enlisted in 1914.  Wounded in July 1916 and invalided home, after
recovering, he returned to France.  Admitted into No. 34 C.C.S. (Casualty
Clearing Station) on the 11th August 1916, suffering from boils on both
legs.

Death reported in the 11/05/1917 edition of the Altrincham Guardian.

Commemorated on the private family gravestone in S.S. Wilfred & Mary Church
Yard, Mobberley.

His father - Thomas Barrow died on the 16th March 1938, aged 74 years and
his mother - Ada, died on the 1st July 1945, aged: 76 years.

CWGC - Son of Thomas & Ada Barrow of Blakeley Cottage, Mobberley,
Cheshire.
