1901 Census - 3 Brewery Street, Altrincham.   Son (listed as Freddy) -

Married Mary Elizabeth Davenport during the June quarter 1908 in the
Bucklow R.D. - ref: 8a/410.

1911 Census - Wood Lane, Timperley.   Head of household - Married - aged:
24 - occ: Gardener - born: Altrincham.   Also - Mary Barrow - Wife - aged:
24 - born: Timperley.  Plus their daughter - Ada Barrow - aged: 3 - born:
Timperley.    His parents were residing at 42 Oakfield Road, Altrincham
together with his 4 siblings.

Employed as an Electric Crane Driver at George Richards, Broadheath.

Enlisted in November 1914.

SDGW states that he was a Rifleman.

Church records state that he resided at Wood Lane, Timperley, as does the
local newspaper report.    Presumably his widow's re-marriage address.

The burial records also state that he died at the Royal Infirmary, Hull
???

The local newspaper reports that he died at the 1st Scottish General
Hospital, Aberdeen.      The latter sounds more likely as the newspaper
also reported that the 1st Scottish General Hospital Chaplain wrote - "He
bore his long illness and great pain with soldierly courage.   But, he
longed for death and asked me repeatedly to pray for his release".  

Died of Wounds received in action on the 1st July 1916, having suffered for
nearly four months.   Buried 26/10/1916.

Local newspaper, Gravestone & CWGC both state that he was a Lance
Corporal.

M.I. - "Ever in our thoughts".

CWGC -  Husband of Mary E. Wyatt (formerly Barrow) of 20 Grove Lane,
Timperley.    Mary married John H. Watt in late 1917.

Listed in the Guardian Year Book - Roll of Honour for 1917, which states
that he lived at Wood Lane, Timperley.
