WO363 - Enlisted at Preston on the 8th September 1914, aged: 23 years 130 days, a Salesman, born at Miles Plating, Manchester, residing at 1 Salisbury Road, Broadheath, Cheshire. Height: 5 feet 8 3/8th inches - Weight: 132 lb - Expanded chest:34 inches with a 2 inch expansion - Complexion: Fresh - Eyes: one blue, one green - Hair: Dark Brown - Church of England. Given 3 days C.B.(Confined to Barracks) on the 7th June 1915 for giving an Improper reply to an N.C.O. Admitted into the 51st F.A. (Field Ambulance) on the 16th September 1915, suffering from Enteritis - discharged on the 23rd. Wounded and missing on the 23rd July 1916. |
