Born during the December quarter 1894 in the Salford R.D. - ref: 8d/157,
the son of Samuel George & Frances Ann Livesey (nee Stead).

1901 Census - 4 Tamworth Street, Salford.   Son - aged: 6 - born: Salford. 
  Head of household - Samuel G. Livesey - Married - aged: 33 - occ:
Fishmonger's Labourer - born: Salford.   Also - Frances A. Livesey - Wife -
aged: 38 - born: Salford.   Plus 5 siblings.

1911 Census - 36 Granville Street, Salford.   Son - aged: 16 - occ: Steam
Crane on Ship Canal - born: Salford.   Head of household - Frances Ann
Livesey - Married (Separated) - aged: 49 - occ: Charwoman - born: Salford. 
 Plus 6 siblings and 1 boarder.

His father was residing at 14 Windsor Terrace, Salford. He was aged: 43 and
employed as a Market Porter.  Residing with him was Annie Longbottom -
Single - aged: 29 - occ: Housekeeper Domestic.

WO 363 - Attested into the 10th Battalion, Loyal North Lancashire Rgt at
Manchester on the 3rd September 1914.    Born in the Parish of St.
Clements, he was aged: 19 years 11 months and employed as a Labourer.  He
was 5 feet 5 3/4 inches in height, weighed 131 lb, his chest measurements
were 36/37 1/2 inches and he had Good physical development.  His eyes were
Blue, his complexion Fair as was his hair. Promoted to Lance Corporal on
the 1st March 1915   Whilst at Andover, on the 21st May 1915, he was
charged with Neglect of Duty whilst on active service.  He was Admonished 
Embarked at Folkstone on the 31st Jult 1915.  Promoted to the rank of
Corporal 'in the field' on the 11th September 1915.   Attended 49 Field
Ambulance on the 22nd March 1916 suffering from Mercat Poisoning.  Sent
down to a C.C.S. (Casualty Clearing Station) on the 24th.  Rejoined
Battalion on the 30th March 1916.   He had two brothers - James Livesey
(b.1898), Samuel George Livesey (b. 1901) and two married sisters - Hannah
Wroe (b.1890), Mary White (b. 1892).

M.I. - O Jesus open thou thy heart and let him rest therein".
