His father died in 1909 - aged: 49.   The death registered in the Bucklow
R.D.

1911 Census - 49 Coltart Road, Liverpool.   Boarder - aged: 25 - occ: Town
Postman - born: Blackley, Manchester.   A lodging House run by Mary Jane
Collins with 5 other boarders.

The family farmed at Mere House - demolished to make way for Manchester
Airport's second runway.   Later at Stubb's Farm, Stubb's Lane off Newton
Hall Lane.  Stubb's Lane is remembered by some as Barber's Lane.

His mother died in 1915 - aged: 54. The death also registered in the
Bucklow R.D.
