- ref: 8a/181, the 4th son of William & Annie Elizabeth St. Aubin Brown
(nee Dunbar).

His father - William, died in 1898, aged: 57.     His middle name now seems
to have changed from Fox to his mother's maiden name of Dunbar - perhaps
the name of Fox was his father's idea ?

as George Brown.   Son - Unmarried - aged: 23 - occ: Bank Cashire - born:
Altrincham.   Head of household - Annie Brown - Widow - aged: 55 - born:
Glossop, Derbyshire ???    Plus 2 elder brothers, a nephew and a domestic
servant.

Employed as the Manager of the Hale Branch of the Union Bank of
Manchester.

Prominent member of the Timperley Hockey, Cricket & Tennis Clubs and Hon.
Treasurer of the Tennis Club.    Deputy Organist of St. Mary's P.C. Bowdon
and regular Organist of the St. Luke's Mission Church.    Connected with
St. George's Dramatic Society.

Enlisted in 1916.   His brother Jack, was with him at the last.

His death was reported in the 17/05/1918 edition of the Altrincham
Guardian.
