I am grateful to the Dorking Museum for some of this information. The staff at the Museum are also researching the names from their local war memorials. No. 5 Foreway Coy ? Stanley is not a Trafford man, but is included as his name appears on the Royal Engineers Memorial that was housed in the East Lancs Royal Engineer's HQ at Old Trafford. No. 5 Foreway Coy ? |
