Born on 10/04/1894 during the June quarter 1894 in the Chorlton R.D. - ref:
8c/851, the elder son of Sir Drummond K.B.E. & Lady Fraser.

1901 Census - 135 Palatine Road, Withington, Manchester.   Son - aged: 6 -
born: Manchester.   Head of household - Drummond Fraser - Married - aged:
38 - occ: Bank Manager - born: Manchester.  Also - Vally R. Fraser - Wife -
aged: 32 - born: Scotland. Plus his younger brother and 2 servants.

1911 Census - Charterhouse School, Godalming,   Scholar - aged: 16 - born:
Manchester.

His parents were then residing at 'Earlscliffe', Devisdale Road, Dunham
Massey.    His father - Drummond Fraser - Married - aged: 43 - occ: Bank
Manager - born: Manchester.   Also listed was his mother - Vally Drummod
Fraser - Wife - aged: 40 - born: Dundee, Forfar, Scotland.   Plus 3
domestic servants.

His father was the Managing Director of the Manchester & Liverpool District
Bank whose Head Office was at Spring Gardens, Manchester.

Commissioned 07/11/1914.    Earl of Chester's Bn.

His MIC states that he was posted to France on the 30th April 1915.

In the evening of the 2nd June 1915 he volunteered to undertake the
dangerous task of erecting a barbed wire entanglement in front of the
British lines.   He was shot in the chest a little above the heart.

His death was reported in the 11/06/1915 edition of the Altrincham
Guardian.

His brother Captain Haddo Reginald Drummond Fraser was also killed on
active service.

Listed in the Guardian Year Book - Roll of Honour for 1916.

M.I. - "Elder brother of Haddo killed near Soissons Aug 1918.  Greater love
hath no man than this".

His father was a member of the Manchester Reform Club, 81 King Street,
Manchester.
