Mussalli).

Head of household - Alfred R. Thompson - Married - aged: 30 - occ:
Traveller Millinery Dyers - born: Manchester.   Also - Teresa Thompson -
Wife - aged: 26 - born: Manchester.   Plus 3 younger siblings and 3
servants.

His father - Alfred Robert Thompson died in 1896 aged, 36.

1901 Census - 25 Wellington Road, Withington.   Son - aged: 14 - Scholar -
born: Bowdon.   Head of household - Teresa Thompson - Widow - aged: 36 -
occ: Living on own means - born: Manchester.   Plus 5 younger siblings and
1 servant.

In 1907, his mother married Henry Joseph Patchett

1911 Census - 153 Clarendon Road, Whalley Range, Manchester.   Son - aged:
24 - occ: Insurance Clerk - born: Bowdon.   Head of household - Teresa
Patchett - Married - aged: 46 - born: Manchester.   Plus 1 younger brother
and 1 servant.

His MIC states that he was a Private serving in the 24th Bn. Royal Hussars
- No. G8/47538, also that no medals were issued, but that is his ORs
record, before being commissioned into the Lancashire Fusiliers on the 1st
March 1917.

SDGW states that he 'Died' in German Hands and that he was with the 17th Bn
?

Post-war, his mother (and stepfather?) were residing at 24 Lapwing Lane,
Altrincham.
