Born as Thomas Nathan Kimberley Moss during the June quarter 1888 in the
Barton upon Irwell R.D. - ref: 8c/673, the son of Tom & Sarah A Moss (nee
Kimberley).

1891 Census - 41 Bruton Street, Moss Side, Manchester.   Son - aged: 2 -
born: Manchester.   Head of household - Tom Moss - Married - age: 47 - occ:
Musician - born: Canada.   Also - Sarah A. Moss - Wife - aged: 41 - born:
Birmingham, Warwickshire.   Plus 3 elder siblings.

His mother - Sarah Ann Moss died in 1895, aged: 45 and was buried in
Manchester (Southern) Cemetery.  Nathan was to also be buried in this
grave.

1901 Census - 15 Churchill Street, Manchester.   Son - aged: 11 - born:
Manchester.   Head of household - Annie M. Moss - Widow - aged: 30 - occ:
Sick Nurse - born: Leicester.   Plus 2 younger siblings, aged: 9 & 10.

Unable to trace his mother's death, nor his father's re-marriage, nor his
father's death???

Enlisted into the Royal Welsh Fusiliers.

1911 Census - Robert's Barracks, Quetta, India - Overseas Military
Establishments.   Soldier (Infantry) - aged 23 - born: Manchester.

Died of Gas Wounds on 13th October 1918 and buried in Manchester (Southern)
Cemetery.   Death registered simply as Thomas Moss during the December
quarter 1918 in the Chorlton R.D. - ref 8c/1115 - aged: 33.

M.I. "Also Sarah Ann Moss Mother of above.  Age 44 died 12th December
1895".

Commemorated on the Llandudno Roll of Honour ???  Listed as Nathan Moss on
the Mobberley War Memorial and the Altrincham Roll of Honour.
