The second Battle of Cambrai commenced on Tuesday 19th October 1918 in a 20
mile battle front between Cambrai, in the north and St. Quentin in the
south.   They advanced 3 miles, taking 10,000 German prisoners and 150
guns.    The following day, the Hindenburg Line was broken up and the
Canadians entered Cambrai.
