At that time they were residing at Ambleside, Gales Brow, Flixton, undoubtedly where Harold was born. 1891 Census - 15 Abbey Street, Chorlton upon Medlock, Manchester. Son - aged: 9 - Scholar - born: Flixton, Lancashire. Head of household - Henry B. Hawxby - Married - aged: 45 - occ: Civil Engineer - born: Huddersfield, Yorkshire. Also - Rosa E. Hawxby - Wife - aged: 35 - born: Birmingham. Plus 1 elder brother, 1 lodger and 1 domestic servant. His mother - Rosa Elizabeth Hawxby died in late 1891 in the Chorlton R.D. - aged: 37. 1901 Census - 34 Church Road, Chorlton cum Hardy, Chorlton, Manchester.
