occ: Basket Manufacturer - born: Eccles.   Also - Alice Gratrix - Wife -

WO363 - Enlisted at Manchester on the 4th September 1914.   He was then
aged: 20 years 7 months and employed as a Clerk.  He was 5 feet 7 3/4
inches in height and weighed 116 lb.  Chest measurements of 31 - 33 1/2
inches. He had dark complexion, black hair and blue eyes and recorded as a
Wesleyan.  He served at Home from the 4th September 1914 to the 7th
November 1915.  Posted to France on the 8th November 1915.
