ref: 8c/724, the son of William Henry & Mary Agnes Rostron (nee
Braithwaite).

1901 Census - 5 Lime Avenue, Flixton.   Son - aged: 3 - born: Urmston.  
Head of household - William Henry Rostron - Married - aged: 39 - occ: Clerk
in Shipping Merchant's Office - born: Waterfoot, Lancashire.   Also - Mary
Rostron - Wife - aged: 39 - born: Blackpool.   Plus 4 elder siblings.

His mother - Mary Agnes Rostron died in 1904, aged: 43.    His father
married Annie Cordelia Stelfox during the September quarter 1906.

1911 Census - 5 Lime Avenue, Flixton.   Son - aged: 13 - Scholar - born:
Urmston.   Head of household - William Henry Rostron - Married - aged: 49 -
occ: Merchant's Clerk - born: Waterfoot, Lancashire.   Also - Annie C.
Rostron - Wife - aged: 46 - born: Hulme, Manchester.   Plus 3 elder
siblings and Annie's father.

Served with the Manchester Rgt from 1914.

Commemorated on the private family gravestone in St. Michael's Churchyard,
Flixton.

Listed as "Scout" - 1st Urmston Troop, on the Urmston & Flixton Scout's War
Memorial.

His father, William Henry Rostron died 03/04/1944 aged 83 years and his
mother died 09/01/1904.  His step-mother - Annie Cordelia Rostron died
28/08/1943 aged 75 years.
