Born in 1891. Married Elizabeth E. Ogden during the June quarter 1918 in the Salford R.D. - ref: 8d/110. CWD Report No. 119. Died as a result of falling debris at 21 Wilson Street, Stretford, from where his body was recovered at 15.00 hrs on the 12th March 1941 and taken to the Church Street Mortuary, Stretford. His body was identified and released for burial to his widow - Elizabeth E. Jones. Employed as a Labourer. Buried 19/03/1941 - Burial No. 142447. M.I. - "Killed by Enemy Action March 11th 1941". His son - Samuel Stanley Jones was also killed in this incident. | |||
