Born during the December quarter 1924 in the Bucklow R.D. - ref: 8a/222. Took off from RAF Turnberry at 10.15 hrs in No.5(C) Operational Training Unit Hudson V - No.AM562 for a non-operational flight. The a/c climbed and then crashed into the sea 2 miles off Maidens Harbour, Ayreshire. The five man crew were all killed. | |||
