Attended Woodlands School, Deganwy and Oundle School where he was a prefect. He studied at Clare College, Cambridge Obtaining a Mechanical Sciences Tripos and a B.A. (Cantab.). He was a member of the Air Squadron at Cambridge. Before enlisting in the RAFVR, he was in 'B' Coy of No. 1 Bn Cheshire Home Guard. He trained as a pilot in Florida, USA and returned to this Country early in 1942, when he was posted to the Army Co-operative Command. His elder brother, Captain J.A. Price was serving in the 1st Army in Tunisia. His father was a Major and second in command of the No. 1 Bn Cheshire Home Guard. All three played golf at Hale Golf Club. | |||
