Educated at Rennes College, France and Manchester School of Technology, obtaining a degree in Electrical Engineering at the Victoria University, Manchester. Employed by Messrs. Connolly's Brothers, Blackley, Manchester. Late of Pickering Lodge, Timperley. Death reported in the 08/08/1916 edition of the Altrincham Guardian. Enlisted in September 1914 and joined the Public Schools Bn of the RF's. M.I. - "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends - R.I.P."
