General Information
 
In 1908, Sale High School became a Prep School for the Manchester
Grammar School and was situated on Polar Grove, Sale.  The building
is currently in use as the local Driving Test Centre.

The Sale High Scool moved from Poplar Grove to Woodbourne Road in
1936.   M.G.S. sold the school to Cheshire County Council in 1949
and it reopened as Brooklands Primary School.

Hence their link to the Woodbourne Road Scout Troop.
