Joined the Metro-Vicker's Company as a Probationary Trade Apprentice in May 1935 and became a Trade Apprentice in February 1937. On completion of his apprenticeship in February 1940 was employed in the West Works Gun Carriage Department. Joined the RAFVR in May 1942 later promoted to the rank of Flight Sergeant and posted to the Far East. Reported missing believed KinA whilst on air operations in April 1945. | |||
