1939 National Registration - 79 Park Road, Altrincham.    William Warburton
- Single - born on the 9th August 1910 - occ: Paper Slitter & Reeler.   He
was residing with Alfred A. & Amelia Hodge.

Flying with 61 Sqn, he took off in a Lancaster Mk.I - No.DV400 QR-Y at
17.40 hrs from R.A.F. Skellingthorpe on the 27th January 1944 for a bombing
mission to Berlin.   This was William's 7th operation and his 5th to
Berlin.   The Lancaster was one of 34 Lancaster's lost on this raid.  
Multiply that by seven crew.
