Born on the 11th April1911, the birth being registered during the June
quarter 1911 in the Bucklow R.D. - ref: 8a/159, the eldest son of Arthur &
Beatrice Constance Trevor (nee Pearson).

1921 Census - 28 Westgate, Hale.    Son - aged: 10 - born: Altrincham.  
Head of household - Arthur Trevor - Married - aged: 35 - occ: Foreman
Mechanic ayt Barber & Coleman Ltd., Textile Enginers - born: Altrincham.   
Also Beatrice Constance Trevor - Wife - aged: 31 - born: Altrincham.   Plus
2 younger brothers.

Attended Altrincham Grammar School and Stretford Technical School.  
Employed as a Salesman at S & J Watts, Ltd, Manchester.    Deputy Leader of
Sale Boy's Club, Stretford Boy Scouts and a member of TocH.

His mother died during the March quarter 1939 - aged: 49.

1939 National Registration.    86 Marsland Road, Sale.   Son - born on the
11th April 1911 - single - occ: Salesman (Wholesale Drapery).   Arthur
Trevor - born on the 11th September 1885 - Married - occ: Engineer, Jig &
Toolmaker.   Plus 2 younger brothers and 1 younger sister.

Joined the RAF in 1940.  Wireless Operator/Air Gunner.

Flying with 226 Sqn they took off from R.A.F. Wattisham, Norfolk, in a
Blenheim Mk. IV, No. V6422 MQ, to patrol 'Beat 10', on an anti-shipping
operation. They attacked a convoy the Hook of Holland and crashed after
being caught by the blast of one of their own bombs.    Total losses 3
crew.   Sgt. Trevor has no known grave, the other two are buried in the New
Eastern Cem at Amsterdam.
