Born at Timperley on ther 2nd April 1883, during the June quarter 1883 in
the Altrincham R.D. - ref: 8a/186, the son of George & Elizabeth Thomas
(nee Griffiths).

In 1881, his parents and 5 elder siblings were residing at Orchard Place,
Stockport Road, Timperley.  One of his siblings was Edith Mary - aged: 7
who died in 1882 and is buried at Christ Church, Timperley.  Another sister
listed was Bernice was aged: 2 - in 1900, Bernice married John Monsear
Evenson and she is also buried at Christ Church, Timperley.
